I am certified by the State of Florida Department of Education and the State of Nevada Department of education to teach all subjects in grades K-6. Currently, I am in the process of getting my Ohio Department of Education teaching license for K-6. I have also completed a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California in TESOL. Over the years I have taken part in numerous professional development conferences and seminars, and have received training in the Lucy Calkins Readers and Writers Workshop models as well as the Collaborative Classroom Being a Reader and Being a Writer models.

It is my goal to create a healthy classroom environment, where students take agency over their learning through inquiry-based tasks that allow them to build self-confidence, gain social skills, and achieve individual goals. I aim to help students to become responsible global citizens through relevant, standards based, cooperative lessons that connect our classroom to the world.

Teaching is not only a job for me but my life’s passion. I look forward to taking on new challenges and bringing an adaptive, humorous, and hardworking attitude to any learning community.

I welcome the opportunity to arrange an interview at any time.
